Jane’s nausea and morning sickness knocked her down for the count. She spent pretty much the whole day on the couch today feeling horrible. She woke up at 4:30 this morning because of the nausea. Poor wife. I feel so bad for her.
On days or evenings like this, I stick to my old standby for dinner: Cereal. She feels bad that she’s not cooking me warm meals for dinner, but frankly, I’m good with cereal. It’s fast and easy…
You know, I never knew that morning sickness would be like this when a woman is pregnant. I had always thought that when a woman is pregnant, she’d have some nausea and maybe throw up in the morning. Boy was I wrong.
Jane’s nausea hasn’t made her throw up, although most of the the time she feels like she needs to.
Most foods just don’t sound good to her. And the foods that do sound good, we never have. And yes, I did another “feed my pregnant wife” run today. I got her a sub from Subway. I think that’s on the approved list of foods that a pregnant women can have… isn’t it?
Now I’m sure you’re wondering… where is Jane?
Pregnant Jane told me today that she can’t wait to post on this blog and get active on the forum. She’s excited about sharing her pregnancy journey with the world. I may have scared her a little when I sent her over a list of all of the blog posts I wanted her to make so we can get caught up on lost time.
I guess starting tomorrow if Jane is feeling better we’ll both be posting like crazy on here to get all caught up… if her nausea and morning sickness doesn’t become an all day thing again.
If so, then I may have to dress up in Jane’s clothes and do some blog posts and pregnancy forums posts for her!
Jane… feel better soon! I want my fun, bouncy, energetic wife back!
I think we have a doctors appointment coming up soon… maybe we can get her something?
