Hey guys, congratulations on making it this far, I’m not to sure if theres more blogs of your progression or what not, but I thought I’d like to leave a little comment of my own. I haven’t experienced the “baby brain” as yet as I am only 16 weeks, but it sounds like a really confusing funny stage. Also (before I forget :S) congratulations on having someone congratulate your pregnancy That must have just made your day. I’m a bit impatient to have a baby belly of my own, I know it will come one day. Its also good to hear that these mood swings don’t last forever! It certaintly feels like it sometimes though. I spent a whole Saturday balling my eyes for no reason what so ever, I had Justin so worried that he’d done something to upset me, that poor guy. He empathises with you very much Tarzan. Anyway, its good to know and hear about how life is going for you both, thankyou so very much for doing this Much love

I am 19 weeks today! I too can now be viewed as pregnant instead of fat….a co-worker pointed this out to me last week. I notice that the pregnancy brain really kicks in if I try to do more then one thing at once. So I just take it slow, even if this means I don’t get half my task done. The emotional state is another thing…I am a child therapist and have found myself crying in sessions multiple times….then the kids are confused at who needs therapy. I am very tuned into our little miracle baby and his/her movement. I am still very tired at times but also have burst of energy that I can’t explain sometimes. I am down to only morning nausea and occasional barfs, which is a blessing because it was all day vomiting for about 14 weeks. Thanks for your blog and the laughs! Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy. We are very excited about finding out the sex of our miracle later this week!!

Congrats I’m 19wks as well and my belly is bigger than janes, probably because I am small, I was 101lb when I found out now I’m 122lb =) gotta watch my eatin so I gain 1lb a wk now.

@Jessi… Whoa! You’re right! We’ll be at the 1/2 way point next week. Time is flying by so fast! Wow. So much to do still… oh boy!

@Kreusers… Wow, thank you so much for your kind words. I admit, we had no idea how much our little pregnancy blog here would impact our lives. Without a doubt, it’s helped us in more ways that we even know. Being about to talk openly and freely about what’s going in our lives, finding humor in situations that often times aren’t so humorous, and blogging about feelings (especially on my end) has dramatically improved our friendship and relationship with each other.

Jane and I have truly become closer because of this blog. And really, this has helped provide a MUCH needed release for me several times when I hit those really stressful moments when everything going on overwhelms me. I highly suggest couples blog about their days, funny things that happen, their stress, etc. It provides many talking points for couples and helps them in so many ways. It’s been a HUGE help for us during the most stressful time period in our lives.

Tarzan and Jane my husband and I thank you for everything you’ve done with this blog. Its opened up laughter between us and confronted some fears and questions about children and pregnancy. Your blog has given us a chance to talk about these topics more often than ever before. More importantly your open communication and how well it seems to be working for you and Jane to see the humor in your situation and display it online for everyone but your family and friends to see is amazing. We have even thought about creating our own blog that was a little different that yours but the same concept bearing all to complete strangers. Granted my husband and I aren’t planning on having children anytime soon, we think a blog to talk about all the things that surprise us day in and day out about marriage would be wonderful. Its not easy getting married at any age let alone, at just age nineteen. i just wanted to thank you so much and encourage you to continue writing and laughing. we know its not all smiles but the tears and anger are worth it when your marriage is working and you are blessed with a baby.

@Jamie… That is funny! Listen to this… I was in the kitchen and Jane told me about your comment and she said that she was getting sad reading your post, also wondering why someone would put a poor duck on the 3rd story. She then told me she has also forgotten that ducks could fly! I guess some parts of Pregnant Brain effect many woman!

@JD… LOL You are right, I’m having some Pregnant Brain tendencies kicking in lately. And why not? I’ve had every other sympathy pain so far! And thanks for noticing my softball/baseball error. I corrected that. Darn Pregnant Brain!!!

Great post! Me & Jane are due the same day & I still look fat…my baby is growing in my butt plus I’m getting wide So Jane you are a very lucky girl! You look great!
I wanted to add that Tarzan’s pregnancy brain kicked in…according to your man’s list the baby should be the size of a SOFTball not baseball for week 19! I’m lucky so far, haven’t really had pregnancy brain yet….I don’t think!
