My husband did this for me through two pregnancies, and I trusted his ability much more than he trusted his.

I do have to say that if you don’t want to shave with a hand held razor, using a man’s beard trimmer will keep it all nice and short, without actually cutting it all off. It’s an easy way to keep it from looking like an overgrown ornamental garden. And less dangerous than a regular razor blade.

Good plan staying wax-free. If you’re already sensitive, being waxed while prego would be a TERRIBLE experience for you. Everything is so much more sensitive “down there” due to the increased blood flow.

I do definitely trust him. I wish that we could have videotaped this experience, but I guess that would have been on the border of porn… Anyways, he did good, was extremely nervous, but my husband made me proud! Wow, you sure do things when pregnant that you would have never guessed you’d be doing!

And for the ones that mentioned getting waxed – I wish I could! My skin is so sensitive and when I wax my eyebrows or lip I’m red and bumpy for DAYS. Can you just imagine what waxing would do to my lady parts? I definitely don’t want to risk it to find out. I’ll stick with shaving – It’s worked for me forever!

At least she doesn’t wax the bikini area. I gave Honey the choice a little while ago: wax it for me or give me the $100 to get it done at a salon. The frugal man I fell in love with opted to wax it for me.

My husband can barely keep his beard straight, so this should be interesting as I delve into the second half of my pregnancy! I hope he is ready for this! He may have to give me pedicures as well, which I know will not be good.

ha ha, I am 33 weeks gone and I know I am sporting a 70′s porno bush lol. I can’t see it though and my man is far to British and polite to complain so I’m leaving it be. Did have my legs waxed last week because its no longer simple to reach to my ankles!
Good on you for helping out, you will be a true legend at the birth I am sure!!

I will be 23 weeks on Wednesday, and I have been dreading the arrival of that very day…when I no longer have the ability to “groom”. I had jokingly broached the subject with my husband at an earlier stage…but I don’t think the reality of it had set in at the time. There are only two options (in my book): 1) to do nothing and be “natural”…which I do not even want to imagine!!! 2) have assistance from my husband…which will certainly bring on major fits of giggles and protests on his part. We will see how it all turns out. I have at least a few more weeks before we get there!!

All I can say is that you are a good husband!!! Way to go!!!

Ha, we did the same thing this weekend although it wasn’t our first adventure of this kind. I only let him do the easier parts and then I go with the blind attempt…it ends up a little uneven and imperfect but better than nothing. Way to go Tarzan!
