First of all, I just want to think all of you that commented on the post below about registering for the baby. I took notes and really felt like I knew what the heck I was talking about today while looking at baby stuff. And registering was not bad at all.
I can’t believe that I just said that!
Tarzan and I even had a little bit of fun playing with huge teddy bears (that cost $90!) as props. Pictures to come!
I don’t have the energy to write anymore. I didn’t know that registering would take so much time today. We went to a couple of places, left our house around 930am and didn’t get home until a little after 6pm. Whew. I don’t think I’ve been on my feet all day like that during my whole pregnancy and I’m totally feeling it now.
In fact, my legs are totally sore too. Of course I wore the worst flip flops that I could have and that did not help. I wanted to just fall on the floor at the last place we were at, so I begged Tarzan to stop looking at toys and take me home. Who would have guessed?!
All in all it was a great day! Now I just hope that we get a lot of stuff we put on there. I met a lady, who is pregnant with twins, and she said that she hardly got anything from her registry at her shower. And it took her 6 hours to register. Whew. We were only there for 3 hours, and part of that was relaxing on a glider.
That’s all I got for now… Nighty night and thanks a million again for all the wonderful advice! You all really helped me and I’m sure a lot others out there!

Congrats Guys, for getting it organised
Double congrats to tarzan for going along I can get my man to even walk in a baby shop let alone spend 3 hours in one hehehe
In Australia we dont do registries but all the comments you got Jane have been very helpful to me to decide what else i really need and dont need
Seems the list is never ending I am really not sure if I am going to have everything we need before bubs gets here aww well I have the basics but there still a couple of big ticket items I need to sort out.
Good luck guys
Yay, you did it! I plan to use the comments from your last registering post as a guideline for our registering trip, too. It’s so helpful to hear from moms who have already been through it!
I just registered online, it took a few hours to do and I don’t think I got a single thing I registered for. But I got other things that were even better.
OK, what’s your last name? I want to compare your well-thought out picks with my random guesses. So far, the only thing purchased from mine has been some diapers! LOL
Thanks everyone! Glad you enjoyed it and found it helpful.
Paige – Since we are anonymous, I can’t give you my last name, but if you send me a list of your random guesses, I will tell you what I did. Sorry!
Would you consider posting your regsitry list (not a link to the actual registry of course). I understand your desire for privacy. It’s just that I’m 29 weeks pg too and need to speed register because work folks just told me yesterday they are throwing a shower for me this Tuesday and I need all the help I can get!
P.S. I’ve experienced new weird feelings much lower and higher than previously, too. Mine aren’t lasting or too painful, just odd. Sending you good vibes that it’s just our babes stretching into new uncharted territory.
Hi 29 weeker! I would love to help you out. I do have a few things that I need to take care of today, but when I get back, I will post links of some of the bigger things we registered for. Hopefully that will help you out!
How fun that you are having a shower, but you do need to get on the ball for sure!
Thanks for the good vibes – I feel that you are right and the little ones are just exploring in there!
