31 weeks pregnant: A sign that it’s time to do the dishes

in Mother to be, Pregnancy Craving, Pregnancy Week-By-Week

The dishes are piling up now that I'm 31 weeks pregnant.I went into the kitchen to have a bowl of cereal for a snack.  I opened up the cabinet and took out the bowl.  I poured the cereal in the bowl.  (One of my pregnancy cravings.)  Then I went to get a spoon.  I opened the drawer and there was no spoon to be found.

Then I did what any normal pregnant girl would do:  Went into the dining room and got a spoon out of our China.

Yes, I’m eating cereal in my Bed, Bath, and Beyond $8.99 bowl with a Waterford spoon that cost a lot of money.

Oh, I love being pregnant!

I’ve been eating a lot of cereal too, though try to make sure it has some fiber in it….wishing I had fancy cutlery to eat it with though. That sounds fun! I’m just starting my 31st week and it’s fun to read your blogs as I go along.

The dishes will get done eventually– nothing wrong with using a spoon from the china set! You’re cravings can’t wait, but the dishes can!

What is it with cereal??? I must confess that it is my breakfast and “lunch” almost every day right now. Has been for about a month or two. It is healthy cereal, but cereal nonetheless. Thank goodness I continue to have clean spoons!

Oh that sounds better than when I used the Winnie the Pooh disposable spoons my kids use.
