"Formula or Breastfeeding? I’m going to try to be all about the boob, even though it sort of frightens me. I know it’s best, so I will definitely try it and hope that it works."
Let me tell you, as a new mother, I chose to breastfeed. It's challenging at first and you'll be sore(if you're cracking/bleeding in extreme pain, something probably isn't right with his latch). But if you want your breastfeeding career(yes, it's like a job sometimes) to work, you must be 100% deadset on that being the ONLY way you want it. If you have doubts, you'll be very susceptible to give in. BUT, if you try, and feel it's not right for you, by all means do not force yourself, you'll end up miserable...Do whats right for you and your baby. Nursing is hard sometimes, you'll have doubts if they're getting enough because you cannot measure, and the first month or so will be hell because you're both learning and getting to know each other. GET HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT. The hospitals have lactation nurses that are always willing to help. I know I had to get help in the first 2 weeks when my milk came in, I was so engorged my son couldn't latch on. I went in and the nurse had him on within 5 minutes...Get a good breast pump, it'll save your life when your milk comes in.

This was beautiful. :) They're so much fun, and I cannot wait for you to meet your son!
