The lovely subject of poop

constipation-help-when-pregnant1How’s that going for you?  Is it coming out?

I’ve read many things that tell me how normal constipation is when pregnant.  I feel so thankful that I’m still regular, even without my daily coffee to get me going.  One of my friends was constipated for 13 days while pregnant.

I can’t even imagine.  I would have resorted to a laxative; that’s just too much poop built up in a body.

Perhaps the reason that I am able to poop everyday, even a couple of times on some days, is because I make sure to get enough fiber.

For breakfast I either have Fiber 1 cereal or toast that is double fiber.  I would really recommend the cereal.  I think the serving size is 56% of your daily fiber serving, which is huge.  And let’s face it, I always eat more than the little ½ cup of cereal that is recommended, which helps me get 100% of my fiber by 9am.  Not too shabby.
