(Sigh) I definitely hear you. Although boredom is usually not an option for me, when it hits it hits hard.. I'm always tired these days (33.6 weeks) and most of the time I just want to hit the hay and have a good cry. This is my 3rd and LAST trip down babyville and trust me, I did not miss pregnancy after my 2nd child (20 months ago) and I can't WAIT for this pregnancy to be over as well. I am like a ticking time bomb with a short fuse. I'm so irritated with pregnancy that I am constantly in a pisser of a mood.. Can I get my body back please?? I MISS chandelier sex and being one of those sexy moms that pregnant women envy.. Grrr... one day, one day. OMG ladies.. (Sigh) I definitely hear you. Also, suggestions about sleeping in/through the night are great but I haven't had a good continuous night of sleep in months due to hourly trips to the bathroom. I think what people forget is that there is this "precious" pre-baby time but when you don't feel good physically it's hard to go out and just enjoy yourself like those days when you were, say 30 lbs lighter. Swinging from the chandeliers sex becomes harder, even going to a movie and having to walk out twice to pee...not to mention nice dinners out where suddenly eating a 1 corn chip leaves you filling bloated and full...so going online, reading, baking, writing and sitting in the rocker start to seem like the only ways to really fill the time. This is my first pregnancy too, so I think perspective always changes afterwards but I doubt I'll be looking back on this time regretfully wishing I had taken advantage of it by planning a hike through the Alaskan wilderness or an African Safari....a lot of the fun stuff to do with free time just isn't a practical possibility and I think that's what's frustrating. I hit a few days that went SOOO SLLOOOWWW a couple weeks ago but then things sped back up for me...so they might for you too. As soon as I started making a list of everything we still needed to do (for the nursery, installing car seats, packing hospital bags, etc.), I realized we had lots left and they helped make the time pass more quickly probably because I found things to do to avoid all of those things a little longer. :) My baby shower thank-you's took me forever too. You might want to just address the envelopes now and get them prepped; that would be a really nice head start that will kill some time and save you effort later when you have all the toys to play with. And then you definitely can do your own announcements and enhancements for your pictures etc. Many people use photoshop or photoshop elements and those are some fun programs! Or have you ever visited Etsy.com...Ohhh I can get lost there looking at all the cool stuff. Bet you could find some cute stuff to decorate Baby T's room with.
