10 weeks pregnant: Bloat and nothing to wear when pregnant

by Jane on December 31, 2008 · 0 comments

I’ve been so frustrated with clothes lately.  Isn’t it enough that I can’t go shopping for cute clothes right now?

10-weeks-pregnant-bloat-sausageOh no, I have to deal with bloat and feeling like a stuffed sausage each time I put on anything other than my lounge clothes.  I hate it.  It’s like that in between stage when you are trying to grow your hair out.  It’s too short to pull into a ponytail, but too long to style it cute as if it were short.

I know that it’s too early for me to start showing, so it’s bloat.  Oh, lovely bloat when pregnant.  It’s terrible.  I can’t even button my jeans half the time.  I walk around with my pants unbuttoned just praying that nothing weird happens and causes them to fall at my ankles.  My jeans still fit fine everywhere else and my once tiny waist is gone.  Thick would be the more appropriate word.  Oh the joys of being pregnant.
