Jill - What a great idea, thanks so much! I'll have to remember that in the future for sure!

Lori - I will definitely read your blog about your baby in the past 11 weeks. I imagine it's quite the change to have him inside you one minute and then out in the world the next. I have had a lot of anxiety during my pregnancy and I fear what I'll be like when I have a baby alive in the world. I guess it's all part of it though. Glad to have you here!

Susan - Thanks! It's so crazy that July is here now. I remember when I found out I was pregnant in November, I was thinking "OMG, July is SO far away." Ha. Not so much the case at all.

Brian and Brad - Thanks for your comment and glad to have y'all as readers! I can't wait to check out your site and learn more about how the adoption process is working out for you guys. I wish y'all the best in your journey too!

HDL - Congrats on finding out you are having a little girl!! So exciting. :) As I get further in my pregnancy I find this whole thing to be so amazing as well. Seeing our little guy on the ultrasound for the first time was cool for us, but what's even cooler is the fact that he looked like a little blob (sorry baby T.) and now he looks like a human baby. Definitely agree that it's all amazing!! Good luck to you!

Sarah - How far along are you again?

AngelMommy - HI!!! I was so glad to see your comment & of course I remember you. I've wondered how you were doing. How are you? I'm glad that you decided to come back and I do hope that you have found peace, although I'm sure it's still hard. My thoughts and prayers are with you still though. About that crib, thanks for the link and thankfully that is not the crib that we got. What a sad story! Hope to see you around more!!

Jane - Great name. :) Thank you for your sweet words and congrats for raising great kids! I only hope we can do the same!

MommyMichelle6 - Thanks so much! I will for sure be posting the birth story after it happens!!

As a mom of older kids (my oldest is 20) I can't remember all the little details of his birth but you are about to embark on the most amazing journey...EVER! I'm looking at my son now and I can't believe the fabulous adult he has become. My 18 and 16 yo's are awesome too. Good Luck to you and Tarzan :-)

Hi Jane, you might remember me, NeedsAStickyBaby. After loosing my baby girl I stopped reading for a time, but found myself drawn back. I have been lurking for a while now and am very excited for you. Anyway, I was reading the new and ran across this article you might want to see, I don't know what crib you got but I wanted to make sure you saw this, just in case. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31708800/ns/health-kids_and_parenting/?GT1=43001

How exciting! I'm discovering that the "this is real!" epiphany just happens over and over again. I just had my 20-week ultrasound yesterday and found out that I am having a girl and she is doing great! That was just as amazing as the 6-week ultrasound where I saw her heart beating for the first time. I'm still amazed each time I go to scratch my belly and feel how round it is. And I won't even mention how thrilled I am each time I feel her moving around! So, yeah, it's all pretty amazing :-) I can't wait to read your birth story and what life is like with a newborn!

This is a great site. We are a gay couple looking to adopt. Getting a first hand account of what a pregnant mother goes through is really helpful. Thank you for sharing your story!

Enjoy the time you have left with the little guy all cuddled up inside you. My boy is 11 weeks old today and I still miss having him with me all the time, safe in the studio apartment that was my womb. It was easy for me to keep him safe in there--now that he is out in the world there is just so much to worry about.

If you are interested in learning how I have coped over the last 11 weeks (the ups, the downs, everything!) feel free to check out my blog!

Good luck,
Lori at I Can Grow People

PS: Motherhood is AWESOME!

If you haven't thought about it already, or someone else hasn't mentioned it - You might want to take a look at Blurb.com; they can bind your blog into a book (I think there are other companies that do it too.) That's what I am doing with mine. I'm going to do pregnancy through first birthday, but you probably have enough to bind the just the pregnancy in one book. And then one day, when Tarzan Jr is older...he'll have his life (or as long as you continue to blog) almost in play-by-play. Which we thought was quite cool.
