Hope you had a great time at the concert T & J! Seriously- tell me that the other ladies on line for the bathroom let you go ahead. I think I would have just burst into tears or started yelling if they didn't (or just went into the mens- there's never a line up there)

Now I'm trying to think of a good date for baby-T's birthday so I can win the prize...then I will donate it to a worthy mom or mom-to-be:-)

haha @ Tarzan, good job at throwing those song titles in lol. I wonder if all the sound and bass from the concert can cause labor, especially since youre so close. I am 31 weeks today and next weekend I am going to the Warped Tour. Its also an outside venue and in South Florida it gets DAMN hot!

Have fun at the concert! I love Aerosmith. They really put on a fantastic show.

Honestly, since you haven't really been having any problems, it's pretty unlikely you'll just go into labor. I never made it to my 39th week (had my boy at 38 weeks 3 days) due to toxemia and I had been on bedrest for a couple months before that with preterm labor. But from what I've read/heard/learned from friends, first babies with uncomplicated pregnancies usually stay put until their due date, if not later. Besides, even if you do go into labor (remember, waters only break 11% of the time!), you'll have plenty of time before you have to head into the hospital, as most won't take you until your ctx are a certain time apart anyways, and you might as well rock out while you wait!

I forget if you said you had an iPhone or not, but if you do get a contraction timer app for it. Those things come in HUGE handy for deciding when to go in!

My aunt went to an Aerosmith concert when she was very pregnant when they were in Alaska several years ago. She said that everyone was extremely respectful and made paths for her to walk without having to squeeze by.

I know what you mean about hating to wait to see when the little guy is going to decide to make an appearance. Thankfully (?) I was induced with both my kids. Good luck and have fun!

Hi again! I really apreciate your concern for me. It's been a rough road but we're healing. I work at an OB/GYN office again which can be very heartbreaking at times. The genetic testing went fine, its not genetic just a crazy coincidence. The doc was quite baffled that this happened to both of us without it being genetically linked. Good news for us though. My sister-in-law actually miscarried at 6 weeks a month before me and now she is happily pregnant again and going strong at 17 weeks now so that is encouraging. My husband and I are still debating if we want to start trying for a baby or let nature have her way. I'm starting school again next month looking to get my bachelors in legal studies, so that might be a no. Its online though so maybe, I'm doing the whole program in 3 years instead of 4.

Anyway, about the 39 week appointment. We do send a fair number of women to L & D at that appointment. Sometimes we give them time to go home and get their bags and somethimes we send the Husband to do it while she gets admited. Other times we admit them the next morning, often women have plans that night and if we feel that its unlikely to happen that night but will happen soon we tell them to show up in the morning unless baby decides he/she wants to make an appearance that night. So you might get an freebie and be able to go to concert or you might be in the hospital. Bringing the bags is probably not a bad idea, especially since you have your own gown, you really don't want to get stuck in hospital gowns if you can avoid it. And so Tarzan won't have to leave your side, except to pass out anyway.

I haven't found the concert equivalent of www.runpee.com, but I wish I could...we have a couple shows coming up next month when I'll only be about 7 months along. As for the U2 concert in September, I'll be about 39 weeks then. Not sure if we'll make it to that one, especially because it's in Canada (although the baby would have automatic dual citizenship!).

when i was about 34 weeks pregnant with my twins i went and saw Lou Reed at a small venue in Detroit. Usually i like to get into the front but instead i picked out a spot that allowed me to lean on a unused bar. By the time the show started I was squatting in between songs.

it would be a great story if you go into labor at the show. a good story for the kid and the both of you. maybe you could get steven tyler to pose with the kid!
