Who says I can’t go to a Britney Spears concert pregnant?

by Jane on December 31, 2008 · 5 comments

My dad asked me what Tarzan got me for Christmas.  I started out with the gift I’m most excited about:  Britney Spears concert tickets.  No, I’m not a teenager and yes, I really like Britney Spears.

My dad’s response was, “I don’t think people in your condition are supposed to do things like that.”

Say what, dad?!

I just saw Britney Spears from first row for her Circus tour in September 2009. Not even being 9 months pregnant would have kept me from going- I LOVE HER! So glad I am not the only one.

I saw Brittney in March and it was amazing and I just found out that I am expecting as well and I am going to see her in September again..pregnant or not!!!!

This cracked me up... reminds me of waiting in line to buy the last Harry Potter book in my first trimester. It was midnight, I had a little bump going, I was exhausted... but I was getting my book!

Jane,
I was so upset when I realised I couldnt go to see Pink as I had planned too (My Sister had brought the tickets months before i knew i was expecting) but with the concert being 4 weeks before bubs is born and our tickets were right up the front I had to pass up the ticket
I am still very upset about it

especially when my mum called me to rub it in that my sister sold my ticket to her

I just keep telling my self that pink cancel the Conert and thats why I cant go.

Its the only sore point about being pregnant so far
