Whatever happened to the pictures from the weight loss journey? I would love to see the progress before Jane is pregnant with number 2.

With my first pregnancy, I was 196 when I got pregnant, gained about 30lbs. Lost most of it, and when I got pregnant with my second, I was 196, and stayed that way through out the whole 9 months, and now being 2 weeks after I had her, Im 181lbs. I want to keep losing weight, when my husband and I first got together, I was 135lbs. I want to get my body back not only for me, but for him as well. But more for me ;) I chase around a 20 month old all day everyday, clean the house, and havnt been eating much, I havnt had much of an appetite. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!!!

I weighed 225 post pregnancy and 244 by the end. Rght after I weighed 225 and now at2 weeks at 3 days post partum I weigh 215. Unfotunately, I can only fit in some of my 14 jeans and still look about the way I looked at 8 months pregnant. I think the weight loss is the combo of breastfeeding, chasing after a two year old and not being able to sleep when baby does. Not to mention going to the park, grocery shopping, cleaning the house and general mom stuff to keep you on your toes.

After my son I started working out when he was around 3 months. The pounds started coming off quickly. I gave up working out and started walking a few times a week. I am below my pre-pregnany weight. I was 128 when I got pregnant, got to 153 while pregnant, 148 when I got home from the hospital, and now I am 109. I am convinced breastfeeding has helped as well. I have been breastfeeding for 8.5 months now.

Best of luck, don't stress, it will happen as long as you don't pig out and sit on your bum!

RSTK,

I think the program you're thinking of is EA Sports Active. I've tried them both and I've got to say that, while I liked WiiFit's ability to keep track of and chart my BMI, the exercises just weren't intense enough to get me sweating. EA Sports Active, however, consistently makes me burn calories. Plus, you can workout with someone else or design your own workouts to help motivate yourself.

That's a beautiful one week PP belly! I'm jealous! I looked like a bowl of bread dough that had risen and was just punched down again. Yuck. Only now, at 6 months am I starting to feel better about my belly and weight. Two things have helped me get to and below my pre-pregnancy weight--going on a sugar/white carb strike and breastfeeding! Once I got past the initial sugar cravings, I really don't miss it, and I'm so happy to be giving my baby better stuff in my breastmilk!

And speaking of "Blue Moon" I'm going to crack one open right now while I cook Jane and I up some pasta. It's Friday. It's been one long week. An ice cold beer for this Daddy who just so happens to have some Blue Moon beer in the fridge is sounding goooooooood.
