I’m now 19 and experiencing being a dad. I must say although it feels good it’s still hard. I knew it wouldn’t be easy but to be honest, the hard part is having to balance time. My daughter is great and makes managing her never dreadful. -Teen dad

I’m due Oct 30th with our first baby and going w/ a water birth (that is if our lil pumpkin cooperates!:) All three of these DVDs look amazing, but I think I am most excited to watch the childbirth & nursing DVDs! I’m sure all three could help a first time mom a TON!!!:)
Congrats on baby monkey! Your blog has helped me understand things and prepare for my journey through pregnancy & motherhood! Thank you both for sharing your experience!!!

OMG – that was SOOOO funny! I wasn’t too sure, but I love this!! Even if I don’t win, I may buy this pack. She said everything in such a great way and kinda’ like I think of things
Also, I feel sooo much better about labor now. I always wonder about how it ‘feels’ and that was genius of her to explain it like working out with weights. Makes sense!
Other things I learned:
2nd child you dilate before efface… interesting – maybe that’s why I was born in 45 minutes
Braxton Hicks can start from 25 weeks on
Your burst of energy at the end is only for 48 hours! Knowing me, I’ll probably sleep through half of it

First things first – before I can worry about caring for baby or breastfeeding, I have to worry about knowing as much about labor as I can. A few weeks back, a local woman made the news by giving birth in her car while on the freeway en route to the hospital…I’m hoping to know what the signs of real labor are so I can leave the house with more than enough time to spare.

I’m expecting twins, so I’m most interested in the information in the Breastfeeding DVD on twins. Sounds like Ms. Bayles has some information on the subject, which I’m definitely open to.
