Dear Aunt Flow,

by Jane on September 16, 2009 · 8 comments

Your presence would be nice considering I’ve been feeling cramps for five days now.  I know that I haven’t had my period since last October and while I didn’t miss it when being pregnant, I’m ready to get it over with now.  I hate the anticipation of waiting for you.

It is my wish that you decide to show up sooner than later so that I can move on and not constantly check down there to see if there’s a surprise.  Oh and if you can keep it short, light, and with little to no cramps, I’d really appreciate it tons.

Love,
Jane

lol, I recently wrote a note to Aunt Flow but mine was a little different...

She just came to my house after baby was born 10 weeks ago. She was light and easy with no cramps and stayed 4 days. Glad she is gone though!!!

ha ha! At least you signed it "love" might help get on Flow's good side:)

Hope she shows up soon -- I have ovulation issues, so I know the feeling of her NOT coming when you want :)

I was one of the unlucky ones that had Aunt Flow visit almost immediately after my first son was born. I was nursing full time and felt cheated. Of course, once I was put on the mini-pill it was barely there. Now I love my IUD which keep Aunt Flow and most endometriosis troubles far far away. Hope she shows up soon Jane and it isn't too bad.

Maybe you are pregnant again.....=) I am totally just kidding here!

It took a year for aunt flow to visit me after LiL L. Now that she's visited I'd like her to go away again.

You know, speaking of Aunt Flow, I never realized that, although she takes a vacation throughout pregnancy, she returns with quite a nasty vengeance postpartum...I mean, I know she'd be by to visit...but not an extended stay.
