Another Huggies Overnighter fan here. When/if it starts leaking, go up a size. Luvs during the day. :)

I LOVE pampers, and we're still in size 2's. I used the Huggies and had the leaky diaper from pee, and that was going from our house to the pediatricians; not at night. My son leaks from his diaper b/c his poops are so big. I think it just happens sometimes. Good luck on fixing your leaky diaper probs! Do share what you try and what works!

I had the same problem with the Swaddlers. We used the one pack of them we bought and planned to switch to cloth, but unfortunately they didn't work out. We're using Luvs and they're working great. The only time we've had nighttime leaks is when I didn't change her diaper right before putting her down for the night. That's only happened once or twice. I was surprised since they're a good bit less expensive than other brands, but you can't argue with result!

Try going up a size in your diapers, that might help. Also, ensure that monkey's penis is pointing down in the diaper or he'll pee up and over the top.

If that fails, try fleece pjamas, because they will absorb the pee that leaks out while monkey sleeps and probably not make it onto the sheets then you won't have to change them every day.

Good luck!

I just thought of another thing to share. The weight information on diapers isn't always accurate. We've had Darling Girl in size 4 diapers since she only weighed about 15 pounds, but the size 3's weren't fitting right around her chubby baby thighs and she was leaking. I generally go by the philosophy that when the diaper starts to leak with not very much stuff in it, it's time to go up a size.

I didn't read through the other comments but just wanted to tell you that we had the same problem with our son. We moved up a size and made sure to point him down during every change. Now we know when to move up a size because he'll pee through again. He's 19 months old and we have learned that moving up a size helps with the pee throughs! Hope something works out for you!

You've already gotten great advice, but here's mine. Try Huggies. They have an elastic type band in the back that is great for "holding stuff in". Also I've heard of people putting one size larger on at night.

My guy is 6 months and he has never leaked through his diaper-we use Luv's which is guaranteed not to leak-if it does I will return them. The only time I had a problem is when I didn't pull the tabs tight enough and we had a small leak. Otherwise he can sleep through the night till about 4am when he wakes himself up cause he's got soggy bottom.

Out son was a heavy wetter for a while--we solved it by using diaper doublers. There are many variations--a cloth diaper insert will work, you could double the diaper (use two at once), or you could buy an actual product called a diaper doubler (which is what we did for several months). Eventually our son stopped wetting so much at night. Good luck.

We had this problem. We were advised to buy the next size up even though he hadn't reached the weight requirement. Worked like a charm. No leaky diapers since! Good luck!
