Tonight’s the night for sex for Tarzan

sex-when-pregnant-11As much as I haven’t been in the mood for sex, I must admit that I feel bad for my poor husband.  He even posted about how much he thinks about it and my heart just goes out for the guy.

So I’ve planned something.

Without going into all the details on this blog, because some things should be private, I’ve decided to surprise him when he gets back home.

You see, he’s been so stressed out with various things, so I scheduled him an appointment for a massage tonight.  He’s there right now.  He made a comment while he was getting dressed about how nice it would be to be all relaxed from the massage and then come home and get some (well he didn’t use those exact words).

He’s lucky that I’m:

a.  not feeling bad at all,
b.  such a good wife and care about my husband’s needs, and
c.  in the mood too.  It doesn’t sound too bad to me either.  There I said it… and maybe this will be the beginning to a very crazy and good sex life.

I guess we’ll be able to tell in the future, but as far as tonight, I can promise that Tarzan will be having much needed sex.

Cheers for Tarzan!!

You go Jane. I assure you, he’ll thank you for it someday. Or it’ll work out like it did for us once…when you finally break down and give some sugar, he’ll be too tired and stressed to put out!

Hey everyone. It’s Tarzan. Here’s how it all want down…

When I came back home from my massage (which was very relaxing and back feels much better) I opened the door that leads into the house from the garage and noticed most of the lights here off.

Hmmm… Did Jane go to bed I wondered?

I walk into the living room and see Jane on the couch with her hands over her head. I asked if she was OK and she said she has a really bad headache. I sat and talked with her for a minute and grabbed myself the “Father To Be Dinner”, which of course is a bowl of cereal.

I sat down on the chair next to her and she told me that she was sooooo sorry. For what? I asked. Pregnant Jane went on to explain how she was al prepared so some me some love tonight and was all excited about it. But then she got a headache that was borderline migraine and was starting to feel nauseous from the pain. She kept telling me that she was so sorry and I told her that it was OK, not to feel bad, and she should go to bed and see if she can get to sleep.

Poor girl. As I put her to bed she said to read her blog post and said that she was soooo sorry again. I gave her a kiss goodnight and told her again that it’s OK. I went upstairs, jumped on my computer, read her blog post above, and now I’m here.

So Jane… again, don’t feel bad. It’s OK. And it’s really nice that you were planning on a little surprise for me :) So no worries. There’s always tomorrow. ;) I Love you.

Joseph – that you did!

And yes, assuming nothing is the best strategy to use here. If it happens today, tomorrow, next week, next month (oh I hope not that long!) I’ll hang in there and know that one of these days the planets will align just right an put Jane in the mood during a time of no headaches or nausea.

One of these days!

Awwa, Well I can totally relate to those wonderful pregnancy headaches. I hope you get your time in though – Jane and Tarzan!

Hey Jeanine, OK… give me some good news… Did yours go away in the second trimester? :)

Hey everyone (and Tarzan)… As T. made clear, I felt awful last night, but it’s just one of those things that I don’t have control over.

Anyways, there’s always later today, T.! =)

So amusing watching the comments roll in about your sex lives. Whats with the bowl of cereal?!? You just posted a picture of a full pantry.

Playing Daddy, it’s kind of a strange feeling writing about your sex life (or lack there of lol)… but this totally cements the deal on never ever letting our friends or family find out about this blog. :)

Some days I feel like Truman in that movie… ha ha

Cereal = Fast and easy with no cooking required!

How thoughtful. Thinking about your husband sexual needs ahead of yours. Jane, you are a keeper.
I am curious what keep of cereal Tarzan ate. Surgery or sugarless??? I prefer Cinnamon Toast Crunch and if you had that I’d say you didn’t do too bad that night. But if all you had was Chereos then that’s just sad.

Hi Satin Panties,

Sadly T. just ate Cheerios, but they were Honey Nut – does that make them better? His favorite is Cinnamon Toast Crunch too, but we don’t have those in the house.

And I’d have to agree with you – I am most definitely a keeper! ;)

Oh yes, I third that… Pregnant Jane is a keeper!

Mmmmm… cinnamon toast crunch… my father-to-be cravings are kicking in again!

We’ve also not been doin’ it very often, due mostly to us both alternating being sick with colds and me battling morning (all-day) sickness, awful bloating and fatigue. But I’ll tell ya, when I give in, I’m NEVER sorry. It’s wonderful! It sort of loosens things up down there, if ya know what I mean, and I feel better than ever. There IS a good side to all these pregnancy hormones. The BIG O is amazing during pregnancy!

Just thought I’d share.

MVP,

Well thank you for sharing! And since you were so nice to share, I’m going to share some news…

Jane and I were in the kitchen last night talking while I was putting away some dishes. The next thing I knew we were in the bedroom.

Tarzan finally got to swing from the vines last night with Jane!

Waaaaaaa Hoooooooooooooo!!!!
