Tarzan has lost 12 pounds since I’ve become pregnant. Say it ain’t so!
12 damn pounds.
The nerve of him trying to get thinner while I’m definitely only going to get fatter. Ugh.
To be quite honest with you, I’m extremely proud of him and don’t mind that he’s losing pounds right now. However, I know myself and I know that I’m not going to enjoy a skinnier husband, while I become the fatter wife. It’s just not how it’s supposed to be. (Just to clarify, unless he loses over 100 pounds throughout my pregnancy, he will never weigh less than me, and that’s comforting to know.)
I mean, really, Tarzan… You should be eating ice cream and cookies with me instead of depriving yourself. It’ll be fun. ;)
What happened to all the idea that the husbands should be gaining weight with us pregnant ladies? I like that idea better.
What about your husband? Did he gain weight with you when you were pregnant? If you are pregnant now, is he going on a diet or is he happy to indulge in your cravings with you?

My baby daddy started gaining weight but he has gotten himself together and is now maintaining. But, he is still complaining of insatiable hunger!!! (He has no idea!)
LOL at insatiable hunger! My husband is going to get all Nicole Ritchie on me if he keeps up this losing weight business. Ha, ha.
I am 8 weeks as of yesterday and wont even say how much I have gained so far, heres hoping that it’s all bloat! My husband, dear little brat that he is, has gained…..1/2 a pound! I’m torn between being thrilled that the man actually gained weight for the first time since we got married, and utter disgust at the amount he eats without gaining anything. I used to eat half as much as him and still gained a little here and there…not him. His skinny, muscular and oh so yummy body makes me want to smack him…and jump him at the same time!
Jane – you are supposed to be supportive of your husband
LOL Although I’m not trying to lose weight – haven’t been trying, it’s just been happening… all because of the things I just blogged about
My husband always loses when I’m pregnant. So annoying! He lost a TON when I was pregnant with Adia and now he’s at it again with the twins. Today he even exclaimed, “Guess what, I’m in my skinny jeans and they’re loose!” I could have strangled him.

Crysi, why do you think he’s losing weight? Lack of food? Stress? Lack of sex? Lack of anything? Or is it too much of something? Glad to know I’m not the only one who seems to be going in the opposite direction
By the way, NeedsAStickyBaby … I laugh when I see your name. The first several times I saw it, I thought is said… Needs a Stick Baby… I then took that as you wanted a baby that was really skinny so he’d come out easier. Gave me some interesting visuals I tell ya.
But now I’m wondering why you need a sticky baby and not a nice and clean one??? lol
He always starts working out when I’m pregnant. He’ll run 4 miles 3 or 4 times a week and lift weights. It’s probably because he is stressed and he’s trying to find a way to relieve it since sex doesn’t happen very often anymore. He eats way more that I do, so it’s definitely not a lack of food.
I hope Jane gets in the mood soon. I did last pregnancy and boy was hubby happy. Too bad I was put on pelvic rest at 29 weeks. That was torture! This time, I may be in the mood, but a certain little girl seems to have a nookie alarm. I have a feeling most kids do.

Lol Tarzan. I need my baby to stick to my uterus! I had a threatened miscarriage a few weeks ago and everyone is telling me they are hoping my baby will stick! I want my baby to stay put so sticky is better for now.
My boyfriend gained more weight in the first trimester then I have this entire pregnancy (so far)! It was so sudden too! However, he went from a more physical job to a lighter duty job during that time, and he also enjoyed partaking in my wonderful fast food, chocolate and other junk food cravings. Now that I’m actually gaining weight (I didn’t start gaining until the end of my second trimester), he’s now starting to lose some of it.
I’m starting to gain weight too and my husband is STILL losing weight. Oy, it makes me mad (not really, but you know – it’s no fun to be the one gaining weight). It’s all for the love of baby!!
I actually haven’t gained very much. About 4 lbs in 18 weeks. Not too bad. My husband has been working out for some months now and have lost some lbs. What he’s been working on are his arms and….his arms have gotten harder and sexier. Oooooooooooooh!!!!!!! Just last saturday at the mall I wrapped my hand around his bicep and he was flexin’ and ohhhh mannnn that felt so good! Before this he was a fairly thin armed guy but now…I feelin’ some muscle there. I hope this will soon help with the *ahem* lack of bedroom action that we’ve been ‘not’ having. My fault. =( To me it is so sexy to have a strong armed guy holding me. Ooooh yeahh….(^_^)
