How many of you have seen the movie, “A Christmas Story”? If you’re like me, you’ve seen it no less than 287 times. One of my favorite parts in the movie is when the father wins a major award.

Yes, we won the Best Blog of the Day Award!
I already know Jane. She’ll be acting just like the mom in the movie about the leg lamp. She may not realize how incredible this in. After all, this awards has been given out since the early days of the webbernet! I’m talkin’ straight out of the deep woods of the interweb, the year 1996 when computers still ran by 3 mice running on a wheel inside of them.
When they first launched this award, I was a senior in high school with just one month to go. I had a 90% chance of failing my senior year and it all came done to one single test… but that’s anther story for another day.
Tonight is a night for celebration!
I just put my dancing shows on, I’m going to go and pour myself some champagne, pour Pregnant Jane some grape juice, go wake her up, and blast some the old school hits from 1996 and dance the night away!
By the way… I guess now is as good as a time as any to see if anyone would like to nominate us for the 2009 Bloggers Choice Awards? Just reading about it now, looks cool!
I would have no idea what category we’d fit in since we’re not a parenting blog… we wouldn’t qualify for the ‘hottest mommy blogger’ and certainly not the ‘hottest daddy bloggers’ since Jane is still pregnant.
Hmmm…. They have a Mommy category… A Daddy category… a Parenting category… but no pregnancy category? What gives? Neither of the others can happen without pregnancy happening first! I think they missed a category here! WTH??
