16 weeks pregnant: Maternity clothes on sale

From one pregnant girl to another about maternity clothes:  

I received an email this morning from Old Navy about a coupon for $10 off of a $50 purchase for maternity clothes.  The email also said that all of the maternity clothes were 40% off.  What an awesome deal!  

On one hand, I thought this was a no-brainer.  I’m going to need maternity clothes as I get further along in my pregnancy, and if I can save some money, why wouldn’t I purchase clothes?  On the other hand, I know that my husband is stressed out about money and I’m just not sure how I feel about spending money.  Another thing is that I have no idea how my bump will grow and if that will be the only thing that grows on my body.  

I figured it was too good of an opportunity to pass up, especially since everything was summer clothes and it’s about 76 degrees in Houston today.  If I ever want to leave the house, I’m going to have to hand some maternity clothing.

I bit the bullet and bought 9 different things including:  a pink dress, a pair of capris, a shirt, a couple of tank tops, and a cami to wear underneath some other shirts that I have.  I had two coupons to use in addition to the 40% off, which meant that I got 9 articles of clothing for only $57.  What a great deal, right?
