Yesterday I had another pregnancy appointment at 30 weeks pregnant. Same story, different day.
Weight: Up 2 pounds
Baby’s Heartbeat: In the 150s
Baby’s Position: Sideways. Head is most likely on the left side of my stomach and his little feet that kick the crap out of me are on the right side of my stomach.
Problem with baby’s position: None right now. He will need to be in the correct “head-down” position at 36 weeks. If he isn’t, my OB really can’t try to turn him with her hands due to my [click to continue…]
Today I spent over $4,700 without even leaving the house. Ugh.
I called the hospital to pay for little Tarzan’s birth and all the extras that come along with it. On one hand, I feel extremely lucky that we were able to pay for everything upfront because that ultimately saves so much money in the end.

Since time is going by so quickly I am reminded that we still need to decide what company we are going with for banking the cord blood from our baby.
I have no idea how far in advance this needs to be done, but I’m thinking that since I’m 30 weeks pregnant I shouldn’t really waste anymore time.

Dear Baby T,
So much is happening to me right now and I’m such an emotional mess, but there is one thing that is so definite and completely clear to me… I cannot wait to meet you. I’m so excited to see you for the first time! I wonder what parts of me and what parts of your dad you will have.

I can’t believe that I’m in my third trimester and will be 30 weeks pregnant tomorrow! I’m actually getting so excited about all of the upcoming changes and meeting the little man that I’ve been growing. LOL.
