35 weeks pregnant

We need to pack the hospital bags now that I'm 36 weeks pregnant.Last week, at 35 weeks pregnant, I posted a checklist of all the things that I needed to get done before baby T makes his arrival.  Since then I have been busy putting the final touches on his nursery, putting away all the shower gifts, and most importantly, checking things off of my list left and right.

I’ve been quite productive, I must admit.

There are just a few things to get done now before he comes.  At 36 weeks pregnant, I need to buy him socks, put the car seat in the car (or have someone do that for us, thanks for that great suggestion!), cut my hair, and pack the hospital bags still.

The sock part is [click to continue…]

My baby shower was a lot of fun! While I’m almost through with being 35 weeks pregnant, and it’s almost been a week since my baby shower, it seems like each time I’ve sat down to blog about the details I’m just too tired to finish the post.

Since I have some time on my hands right now and since it’s daylight out and there’s no chance of me falling asleep right now, I figured it’s best to actually complete this post on how my baby shower went.

I was so excited about my baby shower.  Of course I was happy to see what gifts I was going to receive, but more importantly [click to continue…]

35 weeks pregnant belly picturePregnant Jane’s 35 weeks pregnant belly picture is on the left and it has been added to Jane’s pregnancy week-by-week belly pictures page.  From a father-to-be perspective, everything is going really smooth lately.  Really smooth!  Dare I say this… but I believe Pregnant Jane’s pregnancy hormones are not acting up like they were a week or two ago.  Or a month or two ago… or months and months ago…

It’s great to see my beautiful little 35 week pregnant wife back to her normal self.  Well, minus a few things here and there such [click to continue…]

35 weeks pregnant is the beginning to feeling uncomfortable during pregnancy. For some time now people have been asking me if I’ve reached the uncomfortable stage of pregnancy yet.  I’ve laughed it off each time because, quite frankly, I wasn’t sure I’d ever reach that point in the third trimester.

Well, for the record, being 35 weeks pregnant should also be known as the beginning of the “uncomfortable stage of pregnancy”.

All of the things that I used to do easily are not so easy anymore.  Sure, shaving has proven to be more difficult each time I attempt to [click to continue…]

My first inappropriate pregnant bump touch at 35 weeks pregnant.Well today it happened.  My first stranger pregnant belly pat.  At 35 weeks pregnant.  Ew.

I was completely disgusted (strong words, I know) and I was completely not expecting that to happen when I walked into the post office this afternoon.  Who would have guessed?

I had all intentions of blogging about my wonderful baby shower this past Saturday, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Let me share the pregnant belly touch with you…

First of all, we get so many [click to continue…]

Hooray! I'm 35 weeks pregnant!I’m 35 weeks pregnant today!  I can’t believe I’m here already.  As mentioned yesterday, it seems like my pregnancy has gone by so fast to get me to this point.

You know how you always think people who are further along than you seem so much further along and you just can’t wait until you are at that point?

That’s how I feel with being 35 weeks pregnant.  I always thought that it seemed like near the end of pregnancy and that it would be a big [click to continue…]
