While I’m almost through with being 35 weeks pregnant, and it’s almost been a week since my baby shower, it seems like each time I’ve sat down to blog about the details I’m just too tired to finish the post.
Since I have some time on my hands right now and since it’s daylight out and there’s no chance of me falling asleep right now, I figured it’s best to actually complete this post on how my baby shower went.

Well today it happened. My first stranger pregnant belly pat. At 35 weeks pregnant. Ew.
I was completely disgusted (strong words, I know) and I was completely not expecting that to happen when I walked into the post office this afternoon. Who would have guessed?
I had all intentions of blogging about my wonderful baby shower this past Saturday, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

I’m 35 weeks pregnant today! I can’t believe I’m here already. As mentioned yesterday, it seems like my pregnancy has gone by so fast to get me to this point.
You know how you always think people who are further along than you seem so much further along and you just can’t wait until you are at that point?

Today has been a BORING day.
I have read that once you get close to the end of pregnancy it seems to go by so slow. Each time I heard that I always thought “not me”.

I set out to accomplish a small task today. Instead of accomplishing it, I came back home, after hours of looking around, and am disappointed and annoyed.
Really, how hard can it be to find one damn pair of shoes?
I thought that it would be a piece of cake: Go into a store, pick out a pair, and buy them. Easy.

My baby shower will be when I’m about 32 weeks pregnant. I cannot wait!
I know that I still have some weeks before it takes place since I’m only 29 weeks pregnant, but I’ve been hearing a reoccurring comment lately that caused me to look at my baby registry just now.

Since I’ve heard that the third trimester starts on week 26 of pregnancy, week 27 of pregnancy, AND week 28 of pregnancy (all different books and websites), I’ve not really known when to consider myself in the third trimester.
Today I am 28 weeks 2 days, so I’m declaring that it’s officially the third trimester for me!

I was talking to one of my good friends this afternoon about my baby shower. She is hosting my shower with another friend of ours and she told me that I needed to let her know where I was planning on registering for the invitation.
When I told her that I hadn’t registered yet, she asked why. She said that she thought it would be really fun, like registering for your wedding, which I reminded her that I procrastinated until the very end too.

Whew, what a busy past couple of days it’s been this week being 21 weeks pregnant. Good thing that the second trimester energy is not a lie because I’m not sure how I would have functioned this past week. My favorite part of being pregnant so far has definitely been this past week. So many milestones have come with being 21 weeks pregnant and it’s been pretty amazing!
First, I wanted to give you a recap about the bachelorette party that I went to. I will admit that it was not as awful as I expected, but it was still pretty boring. Our night started off at dinner and of course I enjoyed the yummy Mexican food! It was my favorite part of the night! Ha, ha!

All of a sudden, I’ve started to freak out this week while I’m 20 weeks pregnant. Why am I freaking out? Baby items. Registering. Having a crib and a nursery in place when the baby arrives. Researching various strollers, cribs, gliders, and all the other crap you need when you have a baby.
The calm Jane that I used to be is quickly vanishing now that I’m in the second trimester and at the halfway point. I’m turning into a worry-wart and I can’t say that I like it one bit!
