If you would have asked me pre-pregnancy how I spent my Friday nights I would have rattled off a little list for you including, but not limited to, happy hour, dinner with Tarzan or friends, perhaps a movie, some dancing, a bar, etc.

Are you ready for my LONGEST blog post to date?  Grab a cup of coffee and let’s get you all caught up on everything we’ve had going on!

Since we got home from the hospital, I feel like we’ve been in a tornado.  We’re busier than we’ve ever been and the days are all running together.  Our son, Baby Tarzan, is doing GREAT.  Jane is also doing great, but very, very tired as you can imagine.

Pregnant Jane has been asking me for the last few days to confess on our pregnancy blog about my “packing for the hospital” ordeal.  Now before I dive into the whole “packing for the hospital” bit, Jane wanted me to share what I have prepared in our car for you.

For some time I’ve heard, “Just wait until you get near the end of the third trimester, you will be anxious for the baby to come and you will be bored.”  I honestly never thought I’d be too anxious for my life to change in such a drastic way, but dare I say it, I am.  

(Although, baby T. you just stay in there for at least 3 more weeks.  At the very minimum.  Please.)

Yesterday Tarzan and I spent four hours in a classroom to learn about “life after baby”.  

Let me first just say that it is completely ridiculous that they didn’t have more comfortable chairs.  I was uncomfortable from the beginning, as was Tarzan and he isn’t even 34 weeks pregnant.

I feel like I’ve graduated from knowing nothing about baby to having a pretty good understanding of what my life will be like with baby.  Well, as much as I can.  I fully believe that all of the advice in the world [click to continue…]

Thank God this pregnancy blog is anonymous… that’s all I have to say.

Today I mustered up the energy to try to find curtains for the nursery.  I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to look around.  I couldn’t make up my mind so I bought 3 different ones to bring home to see what Tarzan thought about them.

Oh but this story isn’t about curtains, I’m just setting it up so that you understand I was out running errands.

This is the longest that I’ve ever gone without posting on our pregnancy blog.  It’s not that I didn’t think of a bajillion things to talk about, but rather that we have been so super busy lately.  

In fact, Tarzan is making us breakfast tacos for dinner (it’s 11:20pm) and we ate Quizno’s around noon.

Congrats to me for being 30 weeks pregnant!  I can’t believe I’m already at this point!!  

When people who were this far along used to leave me messages on our pregnancy blog, I always thought that it would take forever to get to that point.  It just seemed so far away when I was 8 weeks pregnant.

It’s official:  At 29 weeks pregnant I can no longer see my lady parts and I’m close to seeing my feet for the last time for a while.  I was actually so glad when I was struggling with shaving this morning because I knew that I’d be able to blog about it.

I haven’t blogged in a day or two and that’s only because my life has been filled with laying on the couch and watching tv.  Nothing else.  Oh so boring.  Since nothing eventful happened, I had no topic to cover for a pregnancy blog post, hence my couple of days without anything.
